ARSENAL have been given a boost in chasing Youri Tielemans after the Leicester star declared he is ready to leave the King Power Stadium.
The 25-year-old midfielder has been heavily linked with a move from the East Midlands as his contract expires in 2023.
A move to the Emirates has been mooted, with SunSport exclusively revealing last month how the Gunners were in pole position to sign the Belgian.
It has been claimed the north London team could secure their services in a potential £25m deal.
And Arsenal are believed to be “convinced” they can snap up the ex-Monaco ace with boss Mikel Arteta, a huge admirer.
Tielemans has not commented on his future but has now stated for the first time that he is considering his options.
At the Belgium press conference ahead of the Nations League clash with Poland, Tielemans was asked if he could leave Leicester.
He replied: “It cannot be ruled out. But I can stay. I feel very comfortable in Leicester.
“I was welcomed with open arms from day one. I give everything for the club until the last day.
“But of course you have to listen to other opportunities, you have to look at your career and sometimes you have to make decisions. Maybe someone will come up to me.

“You have to stay calm. I’m fine where I am. I still have a year of contract. I’m in no hurry
“When you change clubs, you don’t change just to change. You’re switching because there’s a great project on the table.
“The most important thing for a player is to play.
“It’s up to me to make the right decision for my future this summer, but for now I’m relaxed and focused on the Red Devils.”
Tielemans made a whopping 50 appearances in all competitions for the Foxes in the 2021-22 season – with seven goals and five assists.
