Arsenal transfer news LIVE: Yeremy Pino lined up, Youri Tielemans deal ON as Torreira leaves, Moussa Diaby green light

ARSENAL are still extremely interested in Youri Tielemans, according to reports.
It is stated that the Gunners will pursue the Leicester star once a player has been sold.
However, it is not specified whether the sale of Lucas Torreira to Galatasaray, which has just been completed, will be sufficient or whether another player will also have to leave.
Mikel Arteta has also reportedly received the go-ahead from owners the Kroenke family to sign France international Moussa Diaby.
The Bayer Leverkusen winger is said to be available for £60m, though it remains to be seen if the Gunners will push the boat out to that extent.
Moussa Diaby is not the only winger Arsenal are looking at, however.
The Gunners are said to be prepared to battle Liverpool for 19-year-old Yeremy Pino of Champions League semi-finalists Villarreal.

Next five up for Gunners
After Friday’s opening night victory at Crystal Palace, Arsenal fans are eagerly counting down the days to their next game.
And it’s not absurd to think that the Gunners would be sitting on maximum points by the time they head to Old Trafford at the start of September.
Between home games with Leicester and Aston Villa, Mikel Arteta’s team have matches against newly-promoted pair Bournemouth and Fulham.

Jesus should net 20 goals
Gabriel Jesus should be targeting a minimum of 20 goals this season, according to one former Arsenal ace.
Mikael Silvestre believes that the forward can blossom under Mikel Arteta, and form a beneficial partnership with his compatriot Gabriel Martinelli.
In conversation with bettingexpert, Silvestre said: “I think [Gabriel Jesus] should score in the twenties; 20 goals should be his minimum mark this season.
“It’s an interesting one. A lot of the time he is outside of the box, drifting left and right. A lot of the time on the right, but he ends up scoring a lot of goals in the box.
“I think that’s what Arsenal needed with the Aubameyang situation, and Lacazette leaving as well. It’s an excellent signing.
“His energy and the dynamic with Martinelli with them speaking the same language. He’s going to have a big impact if he stays fit because he’s also someone who doesn’t shy away from challenges.”

New deal for talented youngster
Wonderkid Brooke Norton-Cuffy has agreed to sign a new contract with Arsenal, according to The Athletic.
The 18-year-old right-back, who has just 12 months to run on his current deal, will put pen to paper later this week.
And the teenager may even be sent out on loan to the Championship for the season to continue his development.
Norton-Cuffy impressed during a similar spell at Lincoln in League One last season, and was also a member of the the England squad that won the European Under-19 Championship this summer.

Betis prepare for Bellerin meeting
Hector Bellerin’s representatives will fly into London later today in order to resolve the defender’s future.
That’s according to transfers enthusiast Matteo Moretto, who describes the meeting as ‘key’.
Bellerin still has a final year to run on his Arsenal contract, but hopes the Gunners will allow him to leave ‘cheaply’ considering his service to the club.
Real Betis are hoping to pick up the right-back permanently following his season on loan with the LaLiga club.

Zinchenko rises to the occasion
William Saliba may have earned the plaudits, but it was another Arsenal debutant that did the hard graft all over the pitch.
New signing Oleksandr Zinchenko filled in for Kieran Tierney at left-back, and showed his versatility in getting forward whenever possible.
And the Ukrainian also highlighted his willingness to play centrally, often coming inside to support and create.
Zinchenko is expected to move into a central midfield once Tierney has fully regained fitness.

Torreira ends torrid Arsenal spell
Lucas Torreira has finally ended his Arsenal hell by completing a £5.5m move to Galatasaray.
Torreira spent last season on loan with Fiorentina where he wanted to remain following a successful spell in Italy.
But the Serie A side failed to trigger his release clause due to a price disparity, leading Galatasaray to making a swoop for the disgruntled midfielder.
He was poised to complete the move in early August after agreeing a three-year deal with the Super Lig titans.
But the transfer was thrown into chaos when Torreira allegedly refused to board the plane taking him to Turkey.
However, any doubts Torreira initially had have been cast aside as he was spotted at a Turkish airport draped in a Galatasaray scarf upon agreeing personal terms with the club, the Daily Mail reported.

A Mouss have for Arsenal
Are Arsenal preparing to make a sensational £60m swoop for Bayer Leverkusen star Moussa Diaby?
According to Football Insider, the Arsenal majority owner Stan Kroenke has given the green light for the move for Diaby to go ahead.
The report says the Gunners believe the 23-year-old would ‘complete’ their attack but money could be a sticking point for the negotiation.
Bayer Leverkusen value the Frenchman at £60m which is believed to be beyond the amount Arsenal are willing to pay.
The London club were hoping for a lower fee but are ‘willing to push the boat out’ to secure the highly-rated Diaby.
Newcastle have also been linked with a swoop for the Bundesliga star this summer.

Gunners could Net-o new star
Arsenal’s hopes of signing Pedro Neto have been boosted by the imminent arrival of Goncalo Guedes at Wolves.
That’s according to The Express, who believe that the signing of Guedes opens the door for Neto to depart Molineux.
And if it’s a case of one Portuguese star in, one out, then the Gunners will be a most interested party.
Mikel Arteta has been a long-term admirer of the 22-year-old winger, who has 11 goals and 12 assists to his name since moving to England.

Arsenal impress on opening night
A year is a long time in the Premier League.
For the second season in succession, Arsenal kicked-off the new campaign with a Friday night London derby.
But that was the only similarity with last term’s horror show at Brentford when the Gunners were embarrassed by the top-flight newcomers.
This time it was Mikel Arteta’s team that impressed and eased to a 2-0 success to leave their fans dreaming of a memorable season.

Gunners go seeking for Seko
Arsenal could turn their attention to Seko Fofana if they fail to land Leicester’s Youri Tielemans.
The Mirror have linked the impressive Lens midfielder with a possible move to the Emirates.
However, the reported £40m asking price is likely to put the Gunners off from bidding for the 27-year-old.
AC Milan and Newcastle are already said to be interested in the former Manchester City youngster.
Forfana failed to make a first team appearance during his time at the Etihad, but did enjoy a loan spell in the Championship with Fulham during 2014-15.

Saliba earns pat on back
William Saliba has earned widespread praise following his Premier League debut at Crystal Palace on Friday night.
But none will have thrilled the young defender as much as the post-match words from his manager Mikel Arteta.
The Arsenal boss lauded the French international for his maturity in the 2-0 victory, and promised to give the centre-back a well-deserved pat on the back.

No Gunners interest in GG
Arsenal were never in for Valencia’s Goncalo Guedes, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Portuguese forward is poised to join Wolves this week for £27.5m despite late interest from Newcastle.
According to widespread reports, the Molineux outfit had also beaten the Gunners to land the 25-year-old.
However, according to the transfer expert’s daily briefing, the Londoners were ‘never in the race’.
Guedes is expected in the Black Country today for a medical with the Old Gold.

Good morning, Arsenal fans
Youri Tielemans has shot back up the transfer agenda as Mikel Arteta targets two more recruits.
It’s claimed the Gunners will focus again on Leicester’s Tielemans as PSG are closing on Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz.
Boss Arteta believes “one or two” more newcomers would give Arsenal the ideal balance after winning 2-0 at Crystal Palace on Friday.
Wolves winger Pedro Neto could be one recruit – especially as Molineux chief Bruno Lages has reportedly landed Valencia wideman Goncalo Guedes.
But there’s more talk of the Gunners fighting Manchester United and Leeds for PSV Eindhoven winger Cody Gakpo.
Meanwhile, reported Arsenal and Newcastle target Moussa Diaby insists he’ll stay at Bayer Leverkusen.
And praise continues to pour in for William Saliba.
The debutant defender was the star man at Selhurst Park, earning comparisons with Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand.

Ex-Arsenal and Spurs target Isco heads for Sevilla
Sevilla have confirmed they have reached an agreement to sign Isco on a free transfer.
The Spanish playmaker had been linked with a number of Premier League clubs earlier this year, including Arsenal and Tottenham.
But he will now join Sevilla for free after leaving Real Madrid earlier this summer.
Isco will undergo a medical outfit with the LaLiga outfit on Monday, the club confirmed.
The 30-year-old will then officially put pen to paper on a two-year deal.
Isco has spent the last nine years at Real Madrid, winning FIVE Champions League trophies in the process.

Tav some of that!
Arsenal loanee Nuno Tavares scored a screamer on his debut for Marseille, where he plays on loan this term.
Tavares, 22, helped L’OM thrash Reims 4-1 at the Velodrome in their first Ligue 1 match of the season.
The left-back netted the French giants’ second, which practically ended their opponents’ hopes of getting back in the game after Wout Faes’ own goal, in the first half.
The Portugal Under-21 international picked up a long ball by Leonardo Balerdi down the left flank and danced around Reims’ defenders.
The 22-year-old took the ball to the edge of the box and fired a thunderous right-footed shot that hit Patrick Pentz’s bottom left corner in the first minute of stoppage time.
Arsenal fans were in awe of the full-back’s wondergoal following a hapless debut season at the Emirates that convinced manager Mikel Arteta to sign Oleksandr Zinchenko to compete with Kieran Tierney.
Tavares was considered a flop upon his departure for Marseille but the Gunners’ faithful took to Twitter to express their hope he will return a changed man, just like William Saliba did.
This fan tweeted: “Always rated him tbf. Another posted: “Love him and yes…get the experience.”

Gunners could land Neto… IF Wolves sign Guedes
Wolves winger Pedro Neto could join Arsenal – IF Molineux chief Bruno Lages lands Goncalo Guedes.

Man Utd and Arsenal eye Cody
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag ‘appreciates’ PSV Eindhoven winger Cody Gakpo – also linked to Arsenal and Leeds.

“These are the players who are difference makers.”

Gunners never gonna get Gonc
Valencia winger Goncalo Guedes was never close to joining Arsenal.
So says transfer expert Fabrizio Romano – just as Portugal star Guedes is being linked to Wolves.
But Gunners’ boss Mikel Arteta is still tipped to chase a wideman and possibly another central midfielder before the transfer window shuts.

Kiera-oke team-mates
Kieran Tierney roped in an Arsenal teammate to join him in performing a Celtic fans chant.
Tierney, 25, taught fellow defender Rob Holding the tune which is a favourite with his ex-club’s supporters.
The pair are seen clapping along together on the new Amazon Prime docuseries, All Or Nothing: Arsenal.
Holding, 26, sings “do do do do do” while Tierney uses a trolley to make the same beat as the drummer at Parkhead.
The tune comes from the song Finder by German house DJ Ninetoes which was an Ibiza hit in 2013.
The duo also perform a bizarre wiggling dance as they are served food at the training ground cafeteria. It came after the Gunners has earned an away draw last season at Liverpool despite having a man sent off.
Boyhood Hoops fan Tierney was a fans favourite at Celtic Park. He would start songs in front of the Green Brigade with a megaphone after victories.
We told how Tierney had earlier opened up on the docuseries at his pain at losing pals to suicide and his own mental health struggles since moving to London.
