Arsenal transfer news LIVE: Bukayo Saka new contract CONFIRMED, Declan Rice BATTLE, Patino exit – updates

Good morning Arsenal fans

Fans were delighted after Bukayo Saka signed a terrific new contract that could keep him at Emirates until 2027.

The 21-year-old star came out of Arsenal academy and went on to become one of Arsenal FC’s most important players.

Saka will now be one of the top earners at the club, his weekly wages rising to £300,000 a week.

The winger said: “I’m just really happy. There’s been a lot of talk and it’s been a while, but I’m here now. I think this is the right club, the right place to take the next step. It’s a beautiful club – look where we are.”

Elsewhere, Arsenal are being linked with other attacking stars to boost their attacking efforts next season.

The Gunners are believed to be interested in Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby.

They have long been linked with the 23-year-old but face competition from other clubs.

Man United have reportedly entered the race for the star.

The two clubs could also be at odds over Mohammed Kudus.

The Ajax winger is also being watched by Premier League clubs and could be primed for a big move in the coming months.
