ARSENAL have joined the bidding war for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Evan Ndicka, reports say.
The Gunners are still looking for a left centre-back ahead of the January transfer window.
According to that evening standardNdicka, 23, is one of the top targets for the north Londoners but faces competition for his signature.
Tottenham, Newcastle and Manchester United have also been previously linked with the centre-back.
Arsenal turned their attention to Ndicka after missing out on Lisandro Martinez, who signed for United last summer.
Mikel Arteta’s side also failed to sign Calvin Bassey, who opted for Ajax.
Ndicka stood out for Eintracht last season as he helped them win the Europa League.
With a total of 17 appearances this season, the Frenchman continues to impress in the Bundesliga.
The defender is a very attractive target as his contract expires in June.
Ndicka joined Eintracht from Auxerre in 2018 and rose quickly at Deutsche Bank Park.

The 23-year-old has since recorded 10 goals and nine assists in 156 appearances in all competitions.
However, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has managed to put together a rock-solid defense with William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes at centre-back.
