ARSENAL star Granit Xhaka has reportedly emerged as a top target for Bayer Leverkusen.
But Mikel Arteta is already targeting a replacement at Leicester’s Youri Tielemans.
The Mirror claim Xhaka could be on his way to Germany this summer.
The 29-year-old is no stranger to the Bundesliga, having spent four seasons at Borussia Monchengladbach.
Xhaka has played 250 games for the Gunners since leaving them in 2016.
And with just two years left on his contract, the Swiss international could be on his way out.
Roma boss Jose Mourinho is also said to be interested.
But Leverkusen finished third this season and can offer Xhaka Champions League football.
They have steadily restructured their squad over the past year.
And Arsenal could give their blessing to the move with boss Arteta Tielemans chasing.

The Belgian is believed to be Arsenal’s No 1 target after telling Leicester he wants to leave.
However, Tielemans is not expected to come cheap with the Foxes imposing a £35million price tag on him.
Arsenal have also been exploring other midfield options, with £42million-rated Lazio ace Sergej Milinkovic-Savic also keeping an eye on them.
There is also interest in Wolves star Ruben Neves, while Juventus’ Arthur Melo remains an option after Arsenal tried to land him on loan in January.
