ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE has reportedly agreed to join Lyon following his summer departure from Arsenal.
The Frenchman let his Gunners contract expire and is set to become a free agent.
Lacazette, 31, wore the Emirates captain’s armband for most of last season but then decided to switch.
According to The Athletic, he has decided to return to Lyon – the side he left to sign for Arsenal in 2017.
Lacazette joined the Gunners from Arsene Wenger at the Emirates for around £47m before last season.
He scored 17 goals in his debut season but found his importance dwindling after the arrival of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January 2018.
Lacazette played 206 times for the Gunners, scoring 71 goals and providing 36 assists.
