Arsenal sign Tielemans within ’48 HOURS’, Vieira to undergo medical TODAY, Jesus ‘improved’ offer – transfer news

Good morning Arsenal fans

Arsenal have placed Gabriel Jesus as their No.1 transfer target, according to Fabrizio Romano.

He told Caught Offside: “Gabriel Jesus is Arsenal’s main target to this day.

“There will be new contacts over the next few hours to understand if they can reach an agreement or move on to other goals.

“It’s not just Arsenal on Gabriel who will be 100 per cent leaving Manchester City. He’s a top player who wants to play from the start and it’s not too surprising that he’s taking his time deciding on his future.”

Elsewhere, Eddie Nketiah has reportedly landed a new deal with Arsenal.

His new contract sees him stay at Arsenal for more than a decade, having joined the club in 2015, according to the Evening Standard.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have reportedly triggered Porto ace Fabio Vieira’s release clause.

According to the Express, the Gunners have made a £36million bid to clear Vieira of his contract involvement.

The 22-year-old is believed to be traveling to north London to undergo a medical before completing his move to the capital, the report adds.

Arsenal will pay Porto £29.8m for Fabio Vieira plus £4.2m, reports have revealed.

The 22-year-old will sign a five-year deal with the Gunners, according to David Ornstein.

His move to north London was made possible by super agent Jorge Mendes.

Mendes also played a crucial role in Nicolas Pepe’s transfer to Arsenal last summer.

Finally, Arsenal are reportedly getting closer to signing Bologna full-back Aaron Hickey.

The Emirates are likely to be the next best destination for the 20-year-old, according to the Scot.

However, the Gunners have to spend at least £18m on Hickey, the report adds.
