Arsenal news LIVE: Tielemans latest, Kessie OK deal, PSG considering Mikel Arteta

Arteta’s swipe in the Premier League
Mikel Arteta watched as his Arsenal side’s winning streak finally came to an end last night, and then appeared in their latest Premier League fixture.
The Gunners will be back at lunchtime on Saturday when they travel to Aston Villa, leaving the Spaniard with just 62 goals from the end of the game against Liverpool to prepare.
In his post-match press conference, Arteta took aim at the league sarcastically, suggesting that the fixture schedule could cost his team a spot in the top four. He said: “Thank you very much Premier League.
“They did it again when we had to play Chelsea and Manchester United, so if they want to give them any advantage I say thank you very much for doing that.
“On Saturday the players will be there with energy, but thank you so much to the Premier League for putting stuff like this in. It’s very, very useful.
“It’s not fair to what they’ve done. It’s always been BT, it’s Sky, it’s this, it’s that, but the person affected is Arsenal, and the only thing I care about is Arsenal.”
The Gunners have one of the smallest of the challengers at the bottom of the table, although they don’t have any European football to compete with and haven’t played a game in 18 days between January and February.
