Arsenal News LIVE: Gunners ‘aimed’ at Rashford, Kante ‘offered’ FREE, Bodo/Glimt win reaction – Liverpool updates

Good morning Arsenal fans

Mikel Arteta’s high-flying Gunners are feeling dizzy at the top of the Premier League – and now at the top of Europa League Group A too.

Thursday’s 3-0 win over Bodo/Glimt was the Emirates’ eighth win in a row and sets the Londoners up well for Sunday’s away game against Liverpool.

Arteta ushered in the changes by bringing in eight new players who didn’t start Saturday’s derby with Spurs, but his young stars made him proud.

Goals from Eddie Nketiah, Rob Holding and Fabio Vieira capped a routine win in N7.

The result gave the Gooners much to celebrate and Gabriel Jesus counts Arsenal fans as some of the best fans in the business.

The Brazilian has credited his new supporters for making him feel so welcome since joining from Manchester City.

Meanwhile, another star of this season – William Saliba – has revealed he loves life at the club.

But Mikel Arteta has admitted he feared for his relationship with the France centre-back, having loaned him out for the last three seasons.

Now things appear to be rosy between the two and there are indications that talks over a new, extended contract for the 21-year-old are about to start.

Arteta and technical director Edu were keen to tie the club’s best young players, namely Saliba, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.

And a new deal could soon be on the table for Reiss Nelson.

The 22-year-old midfielder was given a cameo at the end of Thursday’s game after impressing the side in training.

When asked if Arsenal could keep the player beyond this season, Arteta replied: “Yes, 100%.” Arsenal News LIVE: Gunners ‘aimed’ at Rashford, Kante ‘offered’ FREE, Bodo/Glimt win reaction – Liverpool updates
