Arsenal News LIVE: Coutinho UPDATE, new home kit leaked, Saka new contract EXCLUSIVE, PSG eye Arteta

Good morning Arsenal fans

Arsenal’s home kit for the 2022-23 season has been leaked online and the Gunners are set to sport a classic look next season.

Adidas has come up with some timeless designs since they became the Gunners’ kit maker again in 2019, and it looks like they’ve invented another gem.

The always reliable Footy Headlines have confirmed the leak from Turkish outlet Esvaphane.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly planning a summer jump to sign Philippe Coutinho.

He joined Aston Villa on loan from Barcelona in January for the rest of the Prem season.

The 29-year-old has impressed in England so far.

And that could see Villa decide to turn the deal into a permanent agreement by paying Barcelona £33.57m for the Brazilian.

Now, however, Sport claim that Arsenal are preparing a move.

Elsewhere, Steven Gerrard has told Bukayo Saka to harden after the Arsenal star asked referees for more protection in games.

Saka made the request after Arsenal beat Villa 1-0 but Gerrard told the youngster it was all part of the game as football is not a contactless sport.

Gerrard said: “He’s a good player, an outstanding talent. I love him. But he can’t complain about this side, it’s football.

“I’m sitting here now with screws in my hips. I’ve had about 16 surgeries. I’m having trouble going to the gym at the moment.

“He said we were too rough? You didn’t commit a foul today? Listen, it’s part of the game.

“Last time I checked it wasn’t a contactless sport. I think tackles are allowed, physicality is allowed, aggression is allowed as long as it’s fair.”
