Gary Neville shares Arsenal’s doubts

Gary Neville is unsure Arsenal will finish in the top four despite their remarkable start to the season.

Still to be convinced, the Sky Sports pundit believes Mikel Arteta’s side could fall off in the second half of the season.

He told the Mirror: “City is obviously guaranteed and I think Tottenham will come in there. I want to say Arsenal because I think they will be.

“But I think Liverpool will come back. We haven’t seen Chelsea, what are they going to do, will they stay there? Will Arsenal stay there? Tottenham, I don’t think it’s going to fade away.

“I think it’s going to be a real mess and a mess in February, March and I think the business end of the season is going to be very different than it is today. So I’ll go City, Arsenal, Tottenham, United I think, and then I think Chelsea and Liverpool will just miss.

“But to be honest, I personally don’t agree with this idea that Arsenal will definitely finish in the top four. I think they’ll have to prove it towards the end of the season, although I’ve loved watching them at the moment and they’re brilliant.”
