Arsenal legend Thierry Henry claims Jadon Sancho is ‘playing within himself’ and needs to be ‘more deadly’ at Man Utd

THIERRY HENRY has accused Manchester United star Jadon Sancho of ‘playing within himself’.
And the Arsenal legend wants Sancho more ‘damage’.
Henry, 44, joined Amazon Prime Video’s coverage of United’s 3-1 win before Burnley last night.
Despite Sancho’s big contribution in his second goal, he remained the subject of scrutiny by Henry.
The Frenchman said: “Those are the types of players you want to see but he’s playing in himself.
“When you’re in a one-on-one, you should pick a player.
“But it was Luke Shaw who forced him into a one-on-one fight.
“How do you beat your people outside?

“They often want to go inside too much. Just beat your man on the outside and lethal.”
The Red Devils took the lead thanks to Scott McTominay, before a great effort from Sancho in the 27th minute.
He dribbled inside before slamming the shot past goal – with Clarets defender Ben Mee putting the ball in his own net.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s touch helped secure points, although Aaron Lennon was able to turn back the clock and give Burnley an attempt at consolation.
Last night’s outing was Sancho’s 21st appearance since his £73m move from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United.
He has scored twice for United so far, with efforts against Villarreal and Chelsea both under the care of guardian Michael Carrick.
Sancho, 21, has fallen out of favor under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
His stats for United stand in stark contrast to what he achieved last season in Germany – when he scored 16 goals and provided 20 assists in 38 appearances.
