Arsenal legend Kolo Toure appointed Wigan boss when he landed his first managerial job after coaching at Leicester

KOLO TOURE has been appointed manager of Wigan Athletic.
The move comes after brother Yaya Toure turned down a chance to join the Latics.

Former Arsenal and Manchester City defender Kolo left his coaching role at Leicester ten days ago after nine months on the job.
This ended his long association with Brendan Rodgers, with whom he had initially worked as a Liverpool player.
He later played under Rodgers at Celtic before working as a manager under the Foxes boss in Glasgow.
But he is now ready for the hotseat, replacing Leam Richardson after being sacked as Wigan manager earlier this month.
