Due to Ramsdale’s impressive footplay ability and impressive shot stopping, Leno was left out in the cold by Arteta.

Arsenal are now ready to part ways with Leno for offers of between £5million and £10million, according to reports from The Daily Star.

Leno’s current Arsenal deal runs until 2023 but the Gunners could well let him go to bag first-team football.

Newcastle are said to be interested in Leno and have earmarked Arsenal’s No. 2 as one of their options.

Eddie Howe is also set to be eyeing Chelsea flop Kepa Arrizabalaga as Edouard Mendy took first place in London.

Leno is reportedly keen on returning to his native Germany, where he has established himself as one of the top shotstoppers in the country.

Bayern Leverkusen is one of the clubs keen to sign Leno.

Leverkusen sold the goalkeeper to Arsenal for £19million in 2018.

Matt Turner joins Arsenal from New England Revolution at the end of the season.

He will bring more competition to the Emirates’ goalkeeping ranks which is likely to bring Leno’s departure closer.

Arsenal play Crystal Palace in a must-win clash on Monday to bring them back into the top four at the expense of great rivals Tottenham.
