Arsenal in heavy blow with Oleksandr Zinchenko from West Ham clash with groin injury concerned for Arteta
OLEKSANDR ZINCHENKO has been SUSPENDED from Arsenal’s game against West Ham.
The defender will miss the crucial title run-in duel due to a precaution with a tight bar, Arsenal said.
Kieran Tierney has stepped in as his replacement.
It’s the Scotland international’s first start in the Premier League since December – a 3-1 win over West Ham.
Despite the blow, Arsenal fans rallied behind Tierney for a fine performance and wished Zinchenko a speedy recovery.
One fan wrote, “Zinchenko will be a mess but KT will be fine.”
A second said: “OUR BHOOOOYYYY.”
A third commented: “Get well soon Zinny ❤️.”
“Rest for the King of Southampton,” typed a fourth.
A fifth added: “Get well soon but he needs to be in that dressing room. Just like Jesus did when he was hurt.”
