Arsenal in ‘advanced talks’ with Gabriel Jesus, Osimhen price fixing, Gunners urged to sign Rice, Man Utd reaction

Morning Arsenal fans

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has been promised “one or two” key signings this summer by technical director Edu.

Edu told ESPN Brazil: “We’re going to focus on signing a player or two.

“After the last summer revolution, we need the next step. We have our strategy ready.

“Our planning is already complete, it has already reached the owners.

“It’s a matter of step by step as we finish the season and implement the plan, which I’m really looking forward to.”

While Granit Xhaka stated he wants to have a “better relationship” with the fans.

Xhaka said: “I can’t say my relationship with the fans will ever be the same because this moment will always be in my heart.

“I want us to have a better relationship. I want us to understand each other better”

Arsenal are reported to have to pay £67million for Victor Osimhen to sign him from Napoli in the summer.

The Serie A club signed the Nigerian striker from Lille in 2020 and has scored 26 goals in 57 games for the Napoli side.

“Napoli want at least €80m (£67m) if they consider selling Victor Osimhen,” revealed CBS Sports’ James Benge.

“He’s one of the many forwards Arsenal have been following in recent months.”
