Arsenal can win Premier League in TWO YEARS despite Tottenham derby mauling, ex-Gunners ace Bacary Sagna claims

ARSENAL cult hero Bacary Sagna has declared the club can win the Premier League within the next TWO years.
The 39-year-old, who played 284 games for the Gunners between 2007 and 2014, was full of praise for Mikel Arteta’s side.

And that’s despite Arsenal being beaten 3-0 by arch-rivals Tottenham in Thursday’s north London derby.
Sagna has explained his former employers were “robbed” in the clash as he slammed referee Paul Tierney’s questionable decisions.
But while Arsenal failed to impress against Antonio Conte’s men, Sagna has seen enough of them this season to go into next season with confidence.
Regardless of Arsenal finishing in the Champions League, Sagna believes they can soon challenge Manchester City and Liverpool.
Speaking to SunSport on Bet365, he said: “I was worried about how Arsenal would fare this season but they proved me wrong.
“There is clearly a process and the fans have to trust the process and keep the faith.
“Write them off next season if you want, but I’m sure in two seasons they’ll be leading the league as champions.”
He added: “If you look at how they played against Manchester City at the Emirates, they outperformed them.

“Not many teams can do that and to be able to play them you have to have a lot of confidence; a lot of quality and I haven’t seen anyone play like that against City this season.
“Not even Liverpool have brought it to them like that so there are promising signs for the future.”
Pressing on whether Arteta deserves a new contract, he remarked: “Yes and no. I’m impressed by his mental strength.
“He was scrutinized very closely early in the season and it can’t have been easy. I wouldn’t have wanted to be in his position.
“But I’ve known Mikel for a long time now and I know very well that he was always a coach, when we watched games together he would talk to me about formations, my thoughts and tactics.

“For me, I just wanted to go to the game and enjoy it!
“I didn’t want to talk about tactics but the point is I’m not at all surprised that he’s the Arsenal manager, management is in his DNA.”
