Arsenal are still ready to inject cash this month while Mikel Arteta is eyeing further transfers alongside Leandro Trossard

Arsenal joined Trossard after top target Mykhailo Mudryk left for Chelsea.

But the Athletic claim Arteta’s spending may not end there.

Gunners boss and transfer guru Edu is believed to be scouting every possible new face opportunity despite not having an endless supply of cash.

The duo understand it’s always difficult to reinforce a squad in January.

However, options in various positions are being reviewed with a view to a potential offering prior to the Record Date.

It is well known that Arsenal are in search of a new midfielder.

And while there’s unlikely to be a big move for West Ham’s Declan Rice, there could be a chance of a loan move.

Youri Tielemans is another of Arteta’s sights but Leicester may be reluctant to part with his contract, which expires in the summer.

A new striker is also in sight after Gabriel Jesus’ injury.

And Arsenal are reportedly keeping an eye on Bournemouth star Jaidon Anthony.

The 23-year-old is a former academy player and is also out of contract this year.

The Cherries are open to selling him this month but Anthony won’t come cheap due to additional interest from Leicester, Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen.
