BARCELONA have reportedly offered north London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham the chance to loan centre-back Clement Lenglet on loan.
The 26-year-old was a marginal figure at the Nou Camp in the 2021/22 season, where he appeared in just 21 LaLiga games.
The likes of Gerard Pique, Eric Garcia and Ronald Araujo were all favored ahead of the Frenchman.
And with the Blaugrana ready to sign Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen on a free transfer, Lenglet could fall further down the pecking order under boss Xavi.
As a result, the ex-Sevilla ace, who is tied to the Catalan club until 2026, could be allowed to leave.
According to The Times, Lenglet could be on his way to England in the upcoming transfer window.
They claim both the Gunners and Spurs have been offered the opportunity to sign the defender on a temporary deal.
Arsenal could be on the lookout for a new centre-back should William Saliba be sacked again.
And they could decide to bring in Lenglet to replace Pablo Mari, with Udinese wanting to sign him permanently after his loan.
Antonio Conte is also on the market to bolster his backline as Davinson Sanchez and Joe Rodon face uncertain futures.

Meanwhile, Lenglet could be seen as an alternative should Spurs miss their top target Alessandro Bastoni.
Bastoni has also been linked with Newcastle as the Magpies look to inject the money again.
Everton and West Ham have also been rumored to be interested in the Les Bleus international in the past.
However, it remains to be seen if the two clubs are still interested in securing his services.
