ARSENAL have reportedly agreed to play AC Milan in a friendly during the World Cup.
A number of Mikel Arteta’s squad are flying to Qatar in mid-November.
However, those not involved in the World Cup will not be sitting at home with their feet up watching all the action.
The Gunners travel to the Middle East themselves for a warm-weather training camp in Dubai.
And the Daily Mirror states that the Premier League leaders have agreed to take on Milan meanwhile.
The report also said the club are “also eyeing another big-name opponent” to take on before domestic measures resume.
Arsenal have chosen to set up their warehouse in Dubai so players can connect with them from Doha once their respective World Cup campaigns have ended.
Dubai is just over half an hour away by plane and several other clubs have also chosen to fly there.
Most Premier League bosses will grant time-outs to players not involved in the showpiece.
But camps are being set up to keep them fit ahead of the top-flight restart on Boxing Day.

Liverpool is another club set to set up camp in the Middle East during the tournament.
And the Reds have also reportedly agreed to take on last year’s Serie A champions Milan.
