Arsenal 4 Leeds 1: Gabriel Jesus scores first Gunners goals since October as Arteta’s side restore gap with Man City
ARSENAL restored their eight-point lead at the top of the table by overtaking Leeds.
Manchester City upped the pressure by beating Liverpool 4-1 at lunchtime.
But Arsenal responded with an emphatic victory of their own.
Gabriel Jesus hauled out a penalty ten minutes before half-time and blasted it down the middle to score the opener.
Ben White grabbed a second just seconds into the second half and Jesus made three.
Rasmus Kristensen pulled one back for Leeds to take away Aaron Ramsdale’s clean sheet.
But Granit Xhaka ensured Arsenal equaled City’s result with Arsenal’s fourth.
