Chicago Bears wide receiver Bryon Pringle was arrested in Florida on Saturday after police said he was driving his sport with a suspended license.
Pringle, 28, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol for making donuts in his 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat on a public road with a child in his car.
According to TMZ, the athlete was uncooperative and “verbally confrontational” with police during the stop.
Authorities noticed Pringle’s vehicle in Pasco County after seeing the car burn rubber.
The vehicle had two passengers in addition to Pringle, who was in the driver’s seat. An adult man was in the passenger side and a male child in the back seat.
The child was Pringles’ son, TMZ reported.
Pringle’s license was again suspended after police executed her, prompting them to take him into custody. He was charged with reckless driving and driving with a suspended license.
The Hellcat, with a starting price of over $65,000, was towed to a local shipyard.
