ALEXIS MAC ALLISTER is reportedly attracting interest from Arsenal and Tottenham.
The Brighton star shone at the World Cup with Argentina, setting a brilliant assist in the final.
After the midfielder’s impressive tournament, the Seagulls expect a lot of interest in their star.
Arsenal are set to test Brighton’s resolve, according to Spanish outlet AS.
The Gunners would like to add more depth in midfield, with Albert Sambi Lokonga and Mohamed Elneny being their sole stand-ins for regular pair Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka.
Sky Sports add that Tottenham were interested in the 23-year-old even before the tournament.
Spurs recently made deals with Brighton, signing Yves Bissouma for £25million last summer.
They will be active in the January market as they want to prove to Antonio Conte that they are ready to meet his spending demands.
Spurs are in talks to extend the Italian’s contract beyond the end of this season but Conte want reassurances he will have plenty of money to splash out.
A Telegraph report claims Spurs will be looking to sign two players in January – a defender and a creative midfielder.

Mac Allister would be in line for the latter and could join former team-mate Bissouma and international pal Cristian Romero in north London.
The world champion joined Brighton in January 2019.
He was first on loan in Argentina with Argentinos Juniors and Boca Juniors before becoming a regular for the Seagulls.
Mac Allister has played a total of 86 games for the South Coast side and has added goals to his game this season.
Before the World Cup break, he scored five goals in 14 Premier League games
Tottenham and Arsenal could face stiff competition for Mac Allister’s signature in the form of Atletico Madrid.
AS’s report adds that boss Diego Simeone wants to join forces with his compatriot to unite Mac Allister with his international teammates Rodrigo De Paul, Angel Correa and Nahuel Molina.
