Applebee’s “Double Dozen” deal is available for just $1 in-store and online returns — but there’s a catch

APPLEBEE’S is bringing back a big food offering that may have fans running through the doors.

For just $1, customers can once again enjoy a dozen Double Crunch Shrimp.

The offer, offered with the purchase of an Applebee steak, can be enjoyed while dining in the restaurant or with takeout and delivery orders.

You can take advantage of the food offerings by choosing from 8 or 6 ounce Top Sirloin, Bourbon Street Steak or Shrimp N’ Parmesan Sirloin.

Then, for just an extra dollar, you can add a dozen double crunch shrimp, fried golden shrimp served with cocktail sauce.

“You can’t go wrong with our fan-favorite Double Crunch Shrimp deal,” said Joel Yashinsky, Applebee’s chief marketing officer.

“All of our delicious steaks pair perfectly with our Double Crunch Shrimp – and for an unbeatable $1 deal, you can enjoy a dozen delicious shrimp!”

However, Yashinsky urged Americans to go to their local Applebee before it’s too late as this deal is temporary and available for a limited time.

Remember, offer is only valid at participating locations with a limit of one add-on order per steak appetizer order.

It also cannot be used with any other promotion.

ANOTHER APPLEBEE’S MEAL DEAL

In recent weeks, Applebee’s has made additional offers to its customer base, including a promotion that allows children to eat a free meal every day between February 19th and 26th.

The deal is only valid at Doherty Enterprises locations, which operates 36 Applebee’s in New Jersey.

The move comes in response to controversy over another New Jersey restaurant, Netties House of Spaghetti, deciding to ban children under the age of 10.

Accompanying adults must purchase at least one appetizer to receive the child’s complimentary meal.

Applebee’s operates more than 1,600 franchised locations nationwide.

VALUE MEALS ELSEWHERE

Across the country, other restaurants besides Applebee’s are hoping to attract more customers by offering reasonably priced meals.

These deals are designed to help Americans stretch their dollar further in times of extreme inflation.

And some of them are way cheaper than Applebee’s steak and shrimp combo.

Wendy’s is currently offering the $5 Biggie Bag.

This offer includes your choice of a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger, a Double Stack, or a Crispy Chicken BLT to go with your four-piece nuggets, small fries, and a small drink.

Meanwhile, Taco Bell’s Craving Value Menu also offers guests a variety of value-for-money choices.

It offers a $5 meal combo that includes a large fountain drink, a hearty five-layer burrito, a crispy taco, fries, and nacho cheese sauce.

SECRETS TO SAVING IN RESTAURANTS

To secure offers beyond the $1 dozen Double Crunch Shrimp at Applebee’s, customers can sign up for the loyalty program.

Immediately after joining you will receive a credit for a free appetizer.

In general, the best way to get more bang for your buck at many restaurant chains is to become a loyalty rewards member.

To do this, you often have to download the brand’s app, where you will receive exclusive offers that are not open to the public.

For example, Wendy’s offered its members a free bacon cheeseburger for juniors with the purchase of medium or large fries.

Many chains also offer giveaways on your birthday, so this is the best time to take a tour of several restaurants.

For example, Chick-fil-A offers you a free cookie for your birthday.

Additionally, third-party delivery apps offer special offers or free items with a purchase.
