Apple launches AirPods Pro 2 developer firmware

A second developer beta for AirPods Pro 2 has started.
The second iteration has the build number 6A5262e, while the previous version was named 6A5262d. The software is now open for testing by developers and anyone who wants to try out the new features. Apple regularly maintains the beta cycle with updated firmware releases – these are not as common as standard beta updates and are primarily for testing new features before public release.

Apple doesn’t provide release notes detailing exactly what has changed or added, and the second developer beta is no different. To install AirPods firmware beta, users must have a registered developer account and enable developer mode on their devices. Once the firmware update is complete, the firmware update can be accessed through Settings, Pre-Release Beta Firmware, and finally AirPods model.
It is not recommended for developers to use beta versions on everyday devices as public beta versions are more stable.
