The Brazilian footballer appeared on a television show in his home country where he was asked to shed light on the events surrounding him and these women. In response to all three allegations, he vehemently maintained his innocence and stated that he had never been involved in any form of violence against women.

During his emotional appearance on the show “Fofocalizando,” the 23-year-old burst into tears. One of the accusers, his former girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin, said he was attacked four times between June 2022 and May this year.

It later emerged that two other women, Rayssa de Freitas and Ingrid Lana, had made similar allegations.

Recounting the events, Antony said: “This is what happened: I left training in the morning, picked up my car and went to the hotel where she was staying. We had lunch together, like any other day. We talked and everything seemed normal. However, things changed when I mentioned that I had to leave because I had other commitments. This led to an argument. I was sitting on the bed and she suddenly grabbed my face. She became very upset and broke a cup and a plate. Then she came towards me. At that moment I was just holding her to prevent any harm. I didn’t pressure her or hurt her in any way. I repeatedly told her to calm down.”

When asked about the alleged headbutt, he replied firmly: “No, I didn’t headbutt her. At no point did I headbutt her.”
