Anthony Martial ‘in raging Man Utd training conflict with U18 star’ as he was snubbed for France 2022 World Cup appeal

ANTHONY MARTIAL was embroiled in a training ground bust with one of his Manchester United team-mates.

And the striker reacted furiously to a fierce challenge from teenager Dan Gore.
SunSport understand the Frenchman confronted the delighted 18-year-old after being beaten by a solid tackle.
Martial, 26, lashed out, catching the teenager during his angry reaction, although Gore held out.
The pair were quickly pulled apart by manager Erik Ten Hag, who told the exuberant teenager that slipping against first-team stars is taboo.
The feud didn’t last long, however, as Martial apologized to Gore, who accepted his teammate’s apology.
The training session continued and there were no further flare-ups.
A United source told SunSport the incident was minor and the result of an eager teenager trying to impress the manager and his colleagues.
Martial’s pain at not being selected for Qatar 2022 was compounded this weekend when Karim Benzema was forced to withdraw from the France squad through injury.

And Les Blues boss Didier Deschamps has made his decision NOT to call up a backup striker for Real Madrid’s killer.
The snub underscores the France manager’s thoughts on Martial, who has struggled for form in recent seasons.
However, Martial has had a good first half of the season – he has scored four goals and provided two assists in seven appearances in all competitions.
He’s hoping to add to that tally after a four-and-a-half week hiatus for the World Cup.
The former Monaco man and his United team-mates will be back in contention in their Carabao Cup fourth round clash with Burnley on December 21.
