ANTHONY JOSHUA infused his inner Rocky Balboa by running up the steps in Dubai alongside WBO cruiser class champion Lawrence Okolie.
The 32-year-old is currently training in the United Arab Emirates looking to return to peak fitness ahead of his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.
British icon Joshua is looking to become a three-time heavyweight champion after lost the WBA, WBO and IBF belts to the undefeated Ukrainian in September.
AJ was enjoying some time in Oregon earlier this month on a ski vacation when he relaxes from boxing.
But the 2012 Olympic gold medalist has now ramped up his preparations, with the Watford native edging through the steps alongside friend Okolie.
Okolie, 29 years old, shared a video on Instagram of the working couple’s sweat in the Gulf country.
Captioning the clip, the 2016 Olympic athlete said: “Anthony Joshua and the boys said they wanted to try @Okoliefit, so we spent our conditioning days.
“Get a solid workout this morning in Dubai with the team, we’re taking @Okoliefit globally.

Joshua also added Instagram story a clip of the duo running up the steps, reminiscent of legendary fictional boxer Rocky sprinting up the steps leading to the entrance of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
He captioned the footage: “Getting the champion ready for his world title defense.”
Okolie made her sensational first cruiser world title defense with a remove the trademark of Dilan Prasovic in September.
He doesn’t have his next fight confirmed.
AJ recently commented that he will take a more ‘mental approach’ to training when he wanted to get back to the top of the weight class.
Speaking at an Under Armor panel, the former British and Commonwealth champion commented: “I’m not happy with what happened in my previous fight.
“You have to be angry about losing and that is unacceptable.
“My losses should be included in my highlights reel really, because that’s what defines you, it’s always on my mind.
“I don’t take losses well, I fight consistently and at my best, and I try to overcome obstacles.”
