ANTHONY JOSHUA has revealed he would study Tyson Fury’s weaknesses extensively if their domestic dream ever materializes.
British boxing fans have dreamed of the duo swapping leathers for most of the decade, but the fight has so far come to nothing.
But that hasn’t stopped AJ from devising a strategy for defeating the Gypsy King.
During a fan Q&A session with GQ, the former two-time Unified Heavyweight Champion said: “How do I prepare for Tyson Fury?
“What do I do? I go back in history, I look at other heavyweights I’ve fought.
“Bigger enemies, enemies that are elusive.
“I’ve also watched a trainer coach Tyson Fury as he prepares his fighters.
“And then I will also watch Tyson Fury from a mental point of view and understand where he is mentally weak.
“And then I put everything together and go in there and go in there and do my best and do my best and I’m sure that should do it.”
A long-awaited Battle of Britain almost came to fruition earlier this year when Fury offered AJ a shock world title lifeline.

Joshua, 33, publicly accepted the offer, although negotiations for the showdown bore no fruit.
The failed talks paved the way for Fury to have a Tottenham trilogy fight with Derek Chisora, which he stopped in ten rounds.
However, Joshua hopes that one day he will share the ring with the WBC heavyweight king.
He told iDBoxing: “Well, on my behalf, I’d love to have the opportunity.
“Because the longer we let it go, it’s no good for anyone.
“Well, yes, I’d like the opportunity. Good luck in his next fight if he pulls through.
“Then I think he will go on unchallenged and then I will fight someone else.
“Then hopefully we’ll both be victorious and then we’ll try to fight each other.”
