Delvey, who was being held at a facility in Orange County, New York, was eventually released on a number of conditions – including a total ban on social media.

She was ordered to post $10,000 bail and must also remain in 24-hour electronic surveillance at home, Bloomberg reported.

Two days after the judge’s verdict, a spokesman for Sorokin confirmed their release.

John Sandweg, who headed Immigration and Customs Enforcement and is now on Sorokin’s legal team, told CNN, “She will remain under ICE’s supervision but will be able to fight her deportation free from physical detention.”

It comes as a judge ruled on Wednesday she could be released from custody amid her deportation battle.

The convicted fraudster managed to swindle $225,000 from banks, friends and hotels by pretending to be a German heiress.

Born in Russia, she was charged with grand theft in 2018 and sentenced to between 4 and 12 years in prison for fraud in New York in 2019.

She was released in February 2021 for good behavior.

However, six weeks later she was arrested again by ICE agents for allegedly having an expired visa.

She remained detained at the Orange County Correctional Facility in New York for 17 months while awaiting her immigration decision.

She even hosted an art exhibition behind bars earlier this year.

Models presented their 20 pieces of art and carried them across the bar, which featured drinks like “Anna on ICE.”

The co-founder of the group that bought Delvey’s art, Patrick Peters, told The US Sun that they are selling 48 percent of Anna’s collection, which is valued at $500,000.

The true story of Sorokin and her years-long scheme to scam banks, hotels and her wealthy acquaintances was documented earlier this year in the Netflix series Inventing Anna.
