But Vinicius is unhappy with how he was treated by the company and has contacted lawyers to help him get out of his business, O Globo reports.
The Real Madrid winger initiated legal proceedings ahead of the World Cup but continued to wear Nike clothing and boots at the tournament.
Vinicu’s main complaint is the fact that Nike gave him old boots to wear at the end of last season.
The 22-year-old wore Mercurials from an old collection during Real Madrid’s run to Champions League glory.
Vinicius was key to that success, scoring the winning goal in the final, but feels he didn’t get the recognition he deserved from Nike.
He argues that he was banned from some of the company’s promotional events despite being one of their biggest stars.
Vinicius also has deals with EA Sports, Vivo, Casas Bahia, BetNacional, OneFootball, JetEngage, Golden Concept, as well as Royaltiz and Pepsi.
But he could be on the hunt for a new clothing partner soon if he can cut his Nike deal.
HOW TO GET FREE BETS ON THE WORLD CUP
For now, the superstar is focused on helping Brazil through the knockout rounds, while South Korea line up next for the five-time champions.
Vinicius featured in both of Brazil’s group stage victories but was rested after losing 1-0 to Cameroon.
