The tweet was deleted and Ruiz took note of it Instagram claimed his account had been hacked.

Alongside four photos, the tweet shared the message: “I wanted to share with you guys what my life behind camp is really like!”

“I love drinking codeine and smoking weed all day.

“I also love buying prostitutes. After that, I go to meetings to cleanse my blood to make sure I come out clean when VADA comes to my training camps.”

Ruiz has experienced a lot of upheaval in recent weeks, including splitting from his ex-wife Julie Lemus.

Julie reportedly kicked out the heavyweight boxer after it was revealed he was dating social media star Mayeli Alonso.

Although the former heavyweight champion and Julie have reportedly been separated for some time, his new relationship with Mayeli is said to have infuriated his ex.

Ruiz, 33, hasn’t fought since defeating Luis Ortiz in September 2022, but he’s aiming for a blockbuster duel next.

Last month, former world champion Tyson Fury warned that he wants the WBC crown.

Ruiz even hinted that a fight had been arranged by re-sharing a fake fight poster of the two.

It read: “Tyson Fury vs Andy Ruiz Jr is official! 22nd of July.”

Fury’s promoter Frank Warren has had to deny a fight was official, while Ruiz is also eyeing a clash with Deontay Wilder.
