Andrew Tate choked me until I passed out during violent sex after he lured me to Romania, says British ex-cam girl

A WOMAN who worked as a webcam girl for Andrew Tate has claimed that he strangled her during violent sex until she passed out.

The 36-year-old misogynist influencer and his brother Tristan, 34, are currently in prison in Romania after being accused of sex trafficking and rape.

The Tate brothers have been in custody since December and have denied all charges against them.

The woman, who is now helping prosecutors, told the BBC she was approached on Facebook “out of the blue”.

Tate said he wanted her as his girlfriend and persuaded her to visit him in Romania and then work as a webcam girl.

But she said Tate became increasingly controlling and punished her when she came out without his permission, and then he became violent.

The woman – the BBC called Sophie – explained that “most of the violence has been sexual in nature, that’s obviously something he’s into” and “started strangling me until I passed out”.

“He likes being in complete control of the woman and feeling like he could take her life at any second. This is a great sexual arousal for him.”

Sophie also claims that he once pushed me against the wall and hit me really hard and followed with ‘you whore’.”

Her allegations come after she was also accused of violently abusing two women while running a webcam business in the UK, even before appearing on Big Brother.

Sophie says she finally managed to break out of the relationship with the “narcissistic” Tate, who she also describes as “very manipulative” and lacking “any kind of empathy.”

“I just had to get away from it. I remember being at work and just being so overwhelmed and I had never felt such darkness.”

Mateea Petrescu, who handles media inquiries for the Tate brothers, told the BBC they would not comment on the claims.

It is alleged that the Tates and their two enforcers – also known as their “angels” – would exploit the women and take half their earnings if they did sex work at OnlyFans.

Andrew is said to have lured an unnamed woman from Moldova to join him in Romania – and assured her that “nothing bad was going to happen”.

He then allegedly raped her twice, according to prosecutors, when she joined his operation.

A court last week rejected an offer by the couple to be released on bail, meaning they will remain in jail until at least February 27.

The Tates have now hired Tina Glandian as their solicitor, who has represented disgraced stars Chris Brown, Mike Tyson and Jussie Smollett.
