Anatoly Malykhin works with a young partner

Anatoly Malykhin is getting ready for a world championship chance at ONE: Bad Blood, and it looks like he’s scrambling with anyone to get some work done. In her latest Instagram post, Malykhin shared a light workout with her little workout buddy.

The caption is written in both Russian and English and says:

“Thanks to this world for everything ❤️”

He also tagged his significant other, Anita, in the post. In addition to his usual entertainment and training videos, Anatoly Malykhin’s Instagram feed is flooded with pictures of him with his family.

‘Sladkiy’ was pushed so much by his family that he even use his current nickname because it was a request from his wife.

Despite her large frame and ruthless nature within the Circle, Malykhin can seem like a cuddly papa bear when it comes to her family. So, it’s no surprise to hear that he wants to spend time with his son despite working hard for the upcoming fight.

Who knows? Should his son decide to follow in his footsteps, fans may have just witnessed the first recorded training video of a future world champion.

Anatoly Malykhin faces an undefeated giant at ONE: Bad Blood

Unlike his son, Anatoly Malykhin’s next opponent, Kirill Grishenko, will be huge once he steps inside the Circle.

The Belarusian tennis player is 4 inches taller than Malykhin and has an undefeated record. They also have a share don’t like because of how current ONE heavyweight world champion Arjan Bhullar is dominating the league and wanted to show what a champion really does, and that’s the fight.

In a recent interview, Malykhin appeared confident of being the ‘best’ in the tournament. He claimed that the guys Grishenko had defeated would not survive a round if he faced them. It’s a bold but factual statement, as it comes from a man who has won four of his last six games in the first round.

Meanwhile, Grishenko stated that he is ready for a five round fight with Malykhin. He believes they have a suitable game plan to beat the Russian fighter’s record. Malykhin will be the third undefeated boxer in a row Grishenko has faced in the Circle.

Find out which giants will be crowned ONE’s new interim heavyweight world champion at ONE: Bad Blood on Friday, February 11.
