An I-25 accident in Denver “involved at least 50 vehicles in two pile-ups” as snow and ferocious weather hit Colorado

TRAFFIC on Interstate 25 was backed up for hours after at least two separate multi-vehicle collisions occurred Sunday.
Winter weather complicated the situation as road closures and congestion plagued the highway.
Denver Police Department tweeted they were investigating a multi-vehicle crash on northbound I-25 around 4 p.m. At least 50 vehicles were involved, according to the Denver Fire Department.
No serious injuries were reported.
Northbound lanes were closed as traffic was diverted to surface roads. The Denver Police Department issued accident alerts after the accidents.
