The last thing to do is clean the kitchen surfaces at the end of the day.

After each meal, clean all surfaces using a disinfectant to keep your counter clean and to keep any crawling species out of your space.

And last but not least, before going to bed, clean up the house quickly by putting away the toys, games, clothes, books or dishes that may be left over from the day.

As a trick, Crombie suggests using laundry baskets and trays to store children’s toys and other household items.
