An archer breaks Link’s stance in The Breath of the Wild

Link, the main character of The Legend of Zelda , seems to be good at everything. He can fight proficiently. He can cook. He wields his extensive arsenal of exotics with the touch of a seasoned professional. In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, he even mastered the art of flying as soon as he got his glider. He’s really great at everything he does, or it came out.

There’s a flaw underneath all of those heroes: He doesn’t draw his arrows correctly. Or better yet, the way he drew an arrow was not encouraged by archery experts. Ridgeline Mounted Archers, an Oregon-based organization that teaches horse archery – yes, that’s when you’re riding and archery at the same time – posted a video explaining the type of scissors Link uses in Breath of the Wild. As it turns out, the way Link fires his arrows can make it difficult to shoot accurately.

One of their instructors explained all about organization’s TikTok account. If you see the Link in Breath of the Wild, he attaches his arrow to the tip of his bow and uses what the instructor calls a “two-finger inverted” drawing. According to the archer, this draw is “really bad” and people should not use it. This is because it pushes the arrow in the opposite direction of the direction you want it to fly.

As explained in a next video, if you shoot an arrow this way, your drawing will actually twist the rope and push the arrow aside. (So it’s probably not the best if you’re trying to catch Bokoblin from afar.) The instructor has also created videos of other famous fictional archers, so if you’re interested in learning more about how Merida is. are from brave or Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger game shoot their arrows you can check out TikTok account.
