An 18-year-old teenager was stabbed to death in a Dartford alley before two 19-year-old men were arrested for murder 20 miles away
COPS have arrested two 19-year-old men on suspicion of murder after an 18-year-old teenager was stabbed to death in Dartford.
Kent Police have confirmed the teenage boy was stabbed to death in an alley off Suffolk Road on Friday night.
Southeast Coast Emergency Medical Services and officers arrived at the scene just after 9 p.m.
The following day, police arrested two 19-year-old men 20 miles away in Gillingham on suspicion of murder.
You will remain in custody while the investigation is ongoing.
Detective Inspector Ross Gurden, of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, said: “We are working to establish the full circumstances and would like to speak to anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious around 9.05pm on Friday night.
“The area where the victim was attacked was close to the city center and pedestrians and vehicles would have been in the area at the time.
“If you think you can help with the investigation, please don’t hesitate to give us a call.”
A Kent Police spokesman said: “At around 12.30am on Saturday 15 April two men, both aged 19, were arrested in Gillingham on suspicion of murder and taken into custody.”
