An 11-year-old girl was scalped from a carnival ride following a freak accident

Nebraska’s Elizabeth “Lulu” Gilreath went on a carnival ride that turned out to be the worst ride of her young life.

Lulu, 11, was at a local county fair and enjoying the day she decided to ride the ‘King’s Crown’.

Tragically, her hair got caught in the plane while she was driving and was yanked from her head.

Her mother stood nearby and saw it all happen!

It took nearly five minutes for the car to come to a halt and Lulu to be taken to the hospital.

Lulu was hospitalized in critical condition and was in intensive care for a few weeks.

Lulu underwent multiple skin grafts to try to cover up the portions of her scalp that were forcibly ripped away.
