Amy Duggar hints she will be the next family member to release a book as she reveals she has “so many stories” to tell

AMY Duggar has hinted she could be the next member of her controversial family to make a damning revelation.

The Counting On star would follow in the bestselling footsteps of his cousins ​​Jinger and Jill.

Amy took to Instagram to congratulate Jill on the success of her new book, Counting the Cost.

Alongside a photo of Amy, 36, Jill, 32, and Amy’s mother Deanna, the TLC star gushed, “Instant NYT BESTSELLER!!” and tagged Jill and her husband Derick Dillard, 34.

Fans in the comments section applauded Amy and her support. And one wondered if Amy might be interested share some stories from herself.

“Amy, you should write your own book too!” the person who posted.

Surprisingly, Amy said it was something she gave in to.

“I’ve been contacted by publishers, so I just have to see if it’s the right thing,” she confessed.

“I really believe my story could help so many people. There are so many conversations and situations that need to be told. We will see! Right now I’m just supporting Jill and Derick!”

But not everyone agreed with a book, including one person who responded, “Why would she write one? She didn’t live in the house and didn’t grow up with the same teachings.”

Again Amy contacted her fans and replied: “Even though I didn’t live in the big house, I grew up around it. I think my story would impact lives because it wasn’t a normal childhood. A story that no one knows and a story that is difficult to write. Then TV stuff and what I was told. It would be an exciting story.

“It would be a book with many stories, because a lot has happened in my life even without the camera,” she continued. “We all have a story to tell.”

SHOWING SUPPORT

Amy and her mother Deanna remained close to Jill throughout her rebellion, often spending time together away from the rest of the family.

They showed their support for Jill on the day Jill’s book was released, with Amy writing on Instagram: “May God bless the people who read your heart! You will help so many people who are suffering, and that’s what it’s all about.”

“I understand that you have to be careful when it comes to trust. We talked about it and it’s still so difficult considering everything we’ve been through, but I’m so glad God gave us strength through it all.”

Amy continued: “I’ve said it so many times and it’s still so true. I love how you and @derickdillard stand for the truth! God go before you both! I’m cheering you on all the way! Love, Ames.”

Deanna added: “I am very, very proud of Jill and Derick!! I pray your book becomes a big bestseller!!!”

COUNTING SALES

Jill and Derek celebrated their success at a recent dinner.

As the couple ate their burgers and fries on their Instagram Stories, the Counting On alum donned a plaid shirt and said to the camera, “Tell them, baby.”

Derick explained, “We were there on our date night to celebrate the release of our book.”

The TLC star added: “And! We just found out we made the New York Times bestseller list! Number two!”

In the story below, Jill shared a page from the non-fiction list and revealed that her collection Counting the Cost came in second place, over author Peter Atti’s Outlive: The Science & Art of Longevity.

As the story ended, Jill held up her nearly empty basket of french fries.

She continued, “When Derick here gives me the last of his fries, he’s speaking my love language.”
