Amy filmed herself Tuesday getting out of the shower without makeup, a gray towel wrapped around her body and another on her head.
Immediately noting the panache of her outfit, she told her followers, “I wonder if TikTok is going to knock this out.”
The mother-of-one spent more than three minutes ranting about the strict requirements in a contract she was offered as a country music star.
“I was offered a music contract years ago, okay? The show was very popular back then. I was in my 20s. I thought I was just hot, and they were like, ‘Hey, country music wants you. We need you .'”

Amy went on to detail the outlandish terms in the contract and the freedom she should have given up.
“And I looked at the contract. He was so fat. No kidding, that was crazy,” she said, showing what appeared to be the depth of a novel with her index finger and thumb.
“And it said that if I sign this, I’m taking away all the rights, okay? Listen to this,” the TV star said.
“If I sign this contract to be on stage with the best singers and have a music career in the spotlight, I had no control over it – I wasn’t responsible for what I could wear. I wasn’t responsible for my friends. I wasn’t responsible for how I felt about voting. I wasn’t responsible for driving. I wasn’t responsible for what I sang, the lyrics I chose. I couldn’t do that.

AMY’S RANT
Amy continued the list of conditions: “I couldn’t talk about my religion. I couldn’t have freedom of speech about how I felt about certain issues. They would shape me, create me, and transform me into something I would. not seen.”
The TLC graduate explained her thoughts on reviewing the contract and why she decided to turn it down.
“I remember looking at this thing and thinking, wow, I could have all the popularity I wanted, right? I could have the fans and the stage and the fancy clothes and the it life, right? The It life,” she said, putting “It” in quotes.
“And something in me got excited. And I remember looking at that contract and leaving — something was really uncomfortable in my heart, and I thought I’m not going to sign that. I don’t sign that.”
The 36-year-old then summed up her conversation with the alleged record label about her refusal to go through with the deal.
“And I remember telling them, ‘Hey, I’m not signing this. It’s something I don’t think I want after all. And do you know what they said? They said, ‘That’s fine, Amy. If you don’t sign it, there are thousands and millions of girls who will sign it right away. And I said, ‘Well, then sign her because I’m out.'”
In the video, the TV personality responded with her own demands, saying, “I choose Jesus. I choose freedom and I choose to live my life that glorifies Christ and isn’t centered, okay? So thank God I’m not an artist on the radio today.”
‘SELL MY SOUL’
She also revealed that while the offer was filmed during her run on 19 Kids and Counting, it wasn’t aired.
“There’s another little treat for you. None of this was shown on camera, even though cameras were nearby. Everything was cut. It was all flat because I turned around [the offer] down.
“And honestly, it was the best decision I could have made because I literally had to sell my soul to be popular. I had to be something I wasn’t. Really, it wasn’t me. And that didn’t sit well with me.”
Amy also shared her sympathy for the industry megastars who are unable to make their own decisions due to their contracts.
“Just remember all these people are being controlled while you’re watching the Grammys when you see these things, okay? All these people have sold their souls.
“And I’m sure, like I said, I’m sure this will be scrapped from TikTok, but if not, just think about it, you think they have the best life, the simplest life, how amazing it is, but you don’t think about their future, you don’t think about where they will end up one day.
“You don’t think about the choices they make because they can’t make the choices themselves. They must answer to these evil, disgusting producers and high-level leaders who only control their lives.
“Well, it’s really sad when you think about it. The Grammys make me sad. The Oscars make me sad. All these people are controlled,” she concluded.
REBEL DUGGAR
Amy is known as a rebellious Duggar, having often broken the rules of her conservative family.
She has spoken out on social media on numerous occasions about her differing views on those of her uncle Jim Bob, 57, and aunt Michelle Duggar, 56.
She’s also been vocal about her feelings about her cousin Josh’s wrongdoing and how the family handled the situation.
Josh, 34, was sentenced to 12 years in prison in May 2022 after being found guilty of possession of child pornography.
Josh’s sister Jinger, 29, slammed her brother and family’s “cult-like” beliefs in her new memoir, Becoming Free Indeed, which was released last month.
“I knew she was writing a book and I’m proud of her,” Amy told The US Sun exclusively.
“She speaks, she uses her voice, and she’s fine [since leaving]. She has a huge following and that’s great.
“So I’m Team Jinger!”

Amy also recently revealed her close bond with another Duggar sibling, Jill, 31, who is also known for breaking her parents’ strict rules.
They have consistently defied the rules of the Duggar family by wearing revealing clothing, getting body piercings, enrolling their children in public schools and drinking alcohol.
