Americans can claim direct payment worth $170 from $9.75 million telemarketing settlement – you need to meet 2 criteria

TELEMARKETING victims may be able to claim free money from a $9.75 million settlement if they qualify.
Freedom Financial Network and Freedom Debt Relief have settled a class action lawsuit over their recorded telemarketing calls.

Freedom Financial violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), which led to the lawsuit.
The TCPA is an amendment to the Communications Act of 1934 and was passed by Congress in 1991 to regulate telemarketer solicitations.
Freedom Financial Network and its subsidiary Freedom Debt Relief sell debt relief and debt consolidation assistance to customers with large amounts of debt.
By using artificial or recorded voices in attempting to sell their products, Freedom Financial violated the TCPA.
The two companies were also accused of calling or texting phone numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry without the permission of the people contacted.
People can register their phone numbers on the registry for free and blacklist their numbers from telemarketers.
The only calls permitted to those enrolled in the National Do Not Call Registry are political calls, charitable calls, debt collection calls, informational calls, and surveys.
ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?
You are entitled to a refund if you received a telemarketing call from Freedom Financial Network or Freedom Debt Relief between May 17, 2017 and April 17, 2018.
The call must have been made using an artificial or recorded voice attempting to sell Freedom Financial Network or Freedom Debt Relief products.
Individuals who have received a telemarketing call and are already registered in the National Do Not Call Registry will receive additional fixed amounts.
HOW MUCH MONEY BACK?
Lawyers for this settlement have estimated that eligible claimants will receive approximately $60 to $170 for eligible claims.
However, the actual amount of money refunded will depend on how many legitimate claims there are and how many of them are registered in the National Do Not Call Registry.
