AMERICAN Pickers star Mike Wolfe’s boyfriend has revealed the show may be coming to an end as the host is “ready to retire” given the brutal ratings.

mike59, and Danielle Colby has starred in the hit series since 2010, as his brother Robbie officially became a full-time cast member in 2022 to replace Frank Fritz.

The US Sun can exclusively reveal that the brothers may be ready to call it quits soon.

A pal of Mike’s exclusively told The US Sun: “I don’t know how long the show is going to be. I don’t know how long Mike and Robbie want to do this. I think they would like to retire at some point. It’s been 12 years.

“It’s a burden on your life. They’ve been doing this for a long time. When they’re around, it’s like, “Ah, we’re on our way again.” “I don’t have time for this, I don’t have time for this.”

“It’s a love-hate relationship like any job. Some days you don’t wish you had this job and could do whatever you wanted. Some days everyone looks forward to their job.”

VALUATION CRISIS

The show would come to an end as the series has low ratings.

The July 5 premiere started strong with 918,000 viewers.

The July 12 show was watched by 803,000, while the July 19 episode was watched by 713,000.

Ratings were better for the July 26 episode with 885,000 viewers.

The August 9 episode had 778,000 viewers, while the August 16 episode had 706,000 viewers.

The August 23 episode drew just 620,000 viewers, the lowest of the season.

CO-STAR FEUD

Ratings once ran in the millions, with original presenter Frank, 59, being a fan favorite.

Frank left the show to recover from back surgery that left him with 185 stitches and two chopsticks in his spine.

During his hiatus from the show, Frank lost 70 pounds and went into rehab in Iowa for 77 days for alcohol addiction.

Frank revealed his feud with co-star Mike during an interview with The US Sun in 2021.

The fan favorite said: “I haven’t spoken to Mike in two years. He knew my back was broken, but he didn’t call me to ask how I was. That’s just how it is.

“The show is 1,000 percent geared towards him. I can’t even bend down to show you just how much.”

“That’s fine. It’s like you have Aerosmith and there’s Steven Tyler and he’s the frontman.”

“I found my place, I’m second and he’s number one on the show. It’s not a problem for me, maybe he has a problem.”

He also admitted: “I think Mike wants to bring his brother Robbie in there to replace me. I don’t know why he’s acting this way towards me.

Frank was placed under conservatorship after suffering a stroke in July 2022 and continues to recover to this day.

FRIENDS AGAIN

Mike and Frank reunited for the first time in years over Memorial Day weekend after The US Sun today revealed the status of their relationship.

A source close to Frank told The US Sun: “Everything is fine between them. They have known each other for 40 years. They went to high school and did all these things together. They are very good friends, great friends.

The insider said Mike has visited Frank “a few times” since his stroke, as the two continue to “call and text him” today.

NEW LIFE

Mike is busy off the show as he often travels with his girlfriend Leticia Cline.

He owns the Antique Archeology business with locations in Nashville, Tennessee and Le Claire, Iowa, and a real estate business where he owns properties and restores historic homes.

He also owns Two Lanes Guesthouse, which is holiday accommodation, and other businesses.

Danielle lives in Puerto Rico and has been focusing on her burlesque show, a source previously told The US Sun that she only comes to the store to film for the show.

Robbie also buys and sells antiques, mostly vintage neon signs.

American Pickers is currently on hiatus as no announcement has yet been made as to when the show is expected to return.
