American Pickers’ Mike Wolfe makes his shop debut when his pal says the host is “ready to retire” given the show’s poor ratings.

AMERICAN Pickers host Mike Wolfe has unveiled a new addition to his Columbia Motor Alley antique shop.
mikeThe focus is on his business after his pal claimed he’s “ready to retire from American Pickers” despite the show having its lowest ratings of all time.
The 59-year-old shared several snaps of an old printer’s table that he hoped to repurpose as a workbench on Columbia Motor Alley in Columbia, Tennessee.
He posted a video showing the rustic, sturdy table being lifted into the store.
The presenter also included a sweet snap of his dog Francie, lying on the floor in the middle of the action with her head resting on her paws.
The History Channel star captioned the post: “His sucker is heavy! Two granite slabs on it… The old printer table is now the workbench for @columbiamotoralley.”

He cheekily added, “Francie Wolfe is directing.”
Mike’s post comes just hours after his friend exclusively told the US Sun that he wants to leave his show.
Said; “I don’t know how long the show will be. I don’t know how long Mike and Robbie want to do this. I think they would like to retire at some point. It’s been 12 years.
“It’s a burden on your life. They’ve been doing this for a long time. When they’re around, it’s like, “Ah, we’re on our way again.” “I don’t have time for this, I don’t have time for this.”

“It’s a love-hate relationship like any job. Some days you don’t wish you had this job and could do whatever you wanted. Some days everyone looks forward to their job.”
Mike and Danielle Colby have starred in the hit series since 2010 and his brother Robbie officially became a full-time cast member in 2022 to replace Frank Fritz.
American Pickers may have ended because the series has low ratings.
The July 5 premiere started strong with 918,000 viewers.
The July 12 show was watched by 803,000, while the July 19 episode was watched by 713,000.
Ratings were better for the July 26 episode with 885,000 viewers.
The August 9 episode had 778,000 viewers, while the August 16 episode had 706,000 viewers.
The August 23 episode drew just 620,000 viewers, the lowest of the season.
Ratings were once in the millions when fan favorite Frank, 59, was a presenter alongside Mike.
Frank left the show to recover from back surgery that left him with 185 stitches and two chopsticks in his spine.
