American Pickers fans think Danielle Colby looks ‘gorgeous’ in a sweet new picture after recovering from a serious health crisis

Danielle’s latest update included a four-legged guest star.

The 47-year-old had a big smile as she held her granddaughter’s dog Lolah and posed for an Instagram picture.

Danielle wrapped the brown haired cutie in an oversized red blanket.

She tilted her head back and smiled heavily with lipstick as the pooch appeared to be kissing her.

In the caption, Danielle confessed: “Missing my sweet granddogger today!!! (Lolah,) by all means give her lots of kisses from me.”

In the comments, fans were delighted to see Danielle smile and agreed that she’s been looking a lot better since the days following her health crisis.

“Great photo,” gushed one person.

Another remarked: “Gorgeous smile.”

As a third gushed, “I love this pic!”

WAY TO RECOVERY

Danielle has been slowly recovering since she underwent a hysterectomy in October 2022 after suffering from painful uterine fibroids.

The road to recovery has not been easy for her as she struggles with her own “chronic pain”.

She spent about 14 days being unable to eat solid food.

Danielle shared, “I lost so much weight so quickly that my body just couldn’t find the strength to continue to heal properly.”

Though she’s on the mend, the TV star said she’s being cautious: “I’ve been out of bed for 4 days now, running around town, mostly pain free, social and productive.

“I’m careful not to wear myself down, but I need to be outside of my home for now and enjoying long walks, vintage shopping, grocery shopping, etc.”

The TV personality previously admitted to feeling “exhausted and dejected”.

“Things don’t always go as planned, so I assume change is inevitable,” she said.

“It seems I’m on the road on my best days. I usually try to keep my body moving and my mind engaged.”

FREQUENT FLYER

She passed an important milestone.

After being on the mend for so long, the reality star revealed that her doctors finally gave her the green light to travel.

In her car in Nashville, Danielle filmed herself announcing her upcoming trip to Puerto Rico.

She shared: “Hello beautiful people! We’re finally on our way home.

“It’s been so incredible to be back with my family during my healing and recovery, but I’m so happy to be getting back into PR.

“This is just a little check-in for anyone who wants to know what’s going on in my world!”

She continued: “I got the okay from the doctor to go home.

“So excited to see all our friends and loved ones. So excited to be back in my house and smelling all my smells.”
