American Idol’s Luke Bryan pokes fun at Katy Perry’s ‘weird’ habit on set and pokes fun at her glamor squad’s ‘aggressive’ routine
LUKE Bryan has slammed Katy Perry’s “weird” habit of getting her makeup done before the show.
The 46-year-old country singer taunted 38-year-old Katy while sharing a behind-the-scenes look at her with her glam squad.

The clip showed Katy in gray sweatpants sitting in her dressing room chair surrounded by a team of hairstylists and makeup artists.
In voiceover, Luke jokingly remarked, “Katy takes a slap in the neck,” while a makeup artist tanned her chin.
He added, “Obviously she can’t stop talking while she’s… oh she’s doing this weird baby doll eyes thing… robots,” while Katy closed one eye and then another.
While Katy’s glamor squad applied eye shadow and styled her hair, Luke continued, “Meanwhile, she gets dust around her eyes and pins in her hair.”
“Extra hair to hair.”
He joked, “That’s aggressive,” while someone was putting makeup on Katy’s face.
The Beer In My Hand hitmaker continued, “She’s getting her fingers massaged. They combed a lot and now their hair is up.”
Katy then held up a mirror and added more makeup, after which he said, “Now she’s staring at herself, doing what they’ve already done and putting some color on the front part of her brain.”

“Now she’s cutting off her existing eyelids.”
He concluded, “Now cement her bangs line and she’s done.”
Luke shared the video on Instagram on Monday and wrote, “The collaboration you’ve all been waiting for…GRWM (Katy) as Luke narrates to Bryan.”
The judges were preparing for a special recap episode of “American Idol” Monday night.
The day before, the air conditioning had failed on the set, causing chaos for the audience and the jury.
Luke filmed the angry crowd and fellow judges Katy and Lionel Richie struggling on set with the rising temperatures.
While sitting on the jury, he shared a video between filming Sunday’s live show.
He told fans: “The air conditioning is out” before panning the camera to Lionel and Katy.
“Lionel is melting away,” Luke said as the 73-year-old singer held a fan to his face while a makeup artist powdered his cheeks.
Luke then turned the camera on 38-year-old Katy, who looked like she was suffering in her skin-tight The Incredibles costume for Disney night.
“Katy is, uh-” Luke said.
Katy replied with a gasp, “Melting.”
The country singer then panned across the crowd, who began booing when they realized he was filming.
“Do you hear the?” he asked as they continued to boo, interspersed with a few cheers.
He posted the messy video Sunday night and captioned it, “It’s hot tonight.”
Five Idol contestants took the stage during the episode to perform various Disney hits in hopes of garnering enough votes to make it to the finals.
Zachariah Smith and Wé Ani were eliminated.
Colin Stough, Megan Danielle and Iam Tongi are in the finals next week.
