American Idol 2023 LIVE - Top 5 performing Disney hits tonight as fan-favorite legend is announced as finale mentor

AMERICAN Idol returns to its highly anticipated Disney night tonight and the Top 5 will perform fan favorite hits.

The American Idol finale is just a week away and the remaining contestants will take the stage tonight in hopes of making it.

The remaining contestants include Zachariah Smith, Megan Danielle, Iam Tongi, We Ani and Colin Stough.

Each participant will take the stage twice tonight to perform a classic Disney song and another from a more recent film.

Meanwhile, American Idol announced that Keith Urban will be returning as a mentor and cast member for the finale.

Enthusiastic fans flooded the Twitter comments one writes: “Oh, my mum will love it because he’s her favorite country singer, my dad likes his music too!”

“American Idol” airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
