An Amber Alert has been issued to an infant missing in Tennessee after his mother was fatally shot near her car.
Memphis Police Department officers found her mother’s abandoned vehicle Tuesday night in the area of Sedgewick Road and Levi Road.
Soon after, they discovered the lifeless body of 27-year-old Danielle Hoyle after conducting a nearby search.
“Preliminary information revealed that the victim was shot. In addition, officers were informed that the victim’s 2-day-old child, Kennedy Hoyle, was last seen with the victim; however, not No children have been identified,” Memphis police said. statement.
Officials said the mother and daughter were last seen Monday in Whitehaven.
Family members said they last received word from Hoyle on Tuesday night when she took Kennedy to the hospital.
