What is Amazon Prime Day 2023?

Amazon Prime Day is an online sale the retail giant hosts around July each year, featuring exclusive offers for its Prime subscribers.

Prime Day was originally created in 2015 to celebrate Amazon’s 20th birthday, but has since evolved into a cult-like offering like Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

The term is 48 hours and only Amazon Prime members have access to the offers.

Normally the event takes place once a year, but last year the retail giant invited its members for a second time in October, repeating it with the Prime Big Deal Days for 2023.

When does it start?

Amazon hasn’t officially announced the date of the October sale yet, but we can make some educated guesses as to when it will happen.

Usually the event takes place on a Tuesday and Wednesday, with the brand favoring dates around the 10th and 13th.

Last year the Early Access sale fell on October 11th and 12th. So we assume that the event will take place at the same time this year.

However, you only have 48 hours to take advantage of the offers and discounts.

When does Prime Day start?

The event usually starts early, with the July event starting at 3am ET and lasting 48 hours, with the October event likely to follow.

But throughout the event there will also be lightning deals with impressive discounts, so keep your eyes peeled.

When does Amazon Prime Day end?

Prime events run a full 48 hours from the start, giving you plenty of time to rack up some savings, and end at 3am the next day.

We recommend making a list of the things you want and checking back to see if you can save. So you don’t miss anything.

Where can I find the best deals for 2023?

Amazon is slashing prices across the site in advance of the sale, so you don’t have to wait until October to start saving.

You can currently save on a range of Amazon devices, but the best deals are reserved for the official launch – so it’s worth bookmarking your favourites

We round up the best deals in the following locations:

When is the next Amazon Prime Day?

It costs $139 per year or $14.99 per month depending on which payment plan you choose.

However, there is a trick you can use to take advantage of the offer if you are not currently a member.

Sign up for a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime here, then cancel before the trial expires.

However, remember to cancel the subscription or you will be charged the full amount.
