Amazon is selling a 19 x 10 square foot insulated Duramax building for $7,679.

Delivery is free and usually occurs within 10 days.

The structure consists of a galvanized steel frame and metal cladding and could be used as a base for a small house.

The prefabricated house has windows and a lockable door.

It’s up to you to find a suitable foundation and lay the flooring.

Duramax is a renowned building manufacturer from California.

Installing this home is quick “because all the components used to construct the prefabricated building have already been prepared in our factory,” the company’s product description says.

“These can be used for anything from storing garden tools and supplies to a pop-up office or rec room to a ‘she shed’ or ‘man cave,'” suggests Duramax.

The structure features both advanced thermal and acoustic insulation.

One of the best features of this building is its expandability.

Duramax sells extension kits that come in 40-inch increments and can be mounted on either side of the house.

This means you can easily create more space even after you move in.

Although this product has many impressive features, it is not yet suitable for long-term use as it is.

If you want to convert a manufactured home or shed into a tiny home, there are many important steps you need to take.

First, you need to check whether your local authority even allows these types of buildings to be used as permanent residences.

Once you have the necessary permits, you will need to further insulate it and install a heating/cooling system.

Other complicated steps such as wiring and plumbing may require professional help.

And you have to think about a suitable solution for the bathroom and kitchen.

Alternatively, there are now companies that sell ready-to-move-in tiny homes.
